Once, the operation of transfering your contacts saved on a device to SIM card was hard, tiring and time-consuming. Now, it can be much easier by using your Google Account.
The Google Account allows us to transfer the contacts from Android to Android, from Android to iOS, from Windows to Symbian and reverse.
From Android to Android
First Method
Go to Settings on your device, choose Accounts and find Google Account. If you still have not added one, now is the good time to do that.
Then click on your account and and tick the option 'Contacts'. It should now be synchronized with the Google server. You should repeat the same actions on the other device - that way the old phone will send your contacts and the new one will receive them.
Second Method
Go to Contacts and choose 'Move device contacts to'. You should be able to see two options - a Google Account and your device account (e.g. Samsung Account). Choose Google Account and your contacts will be merged with it.
From Android to iPhone
You should follow the steps mention in the previous methods. Additionally, when your on the iOS device, you need to go to Settings, then choose 'Mail, contacts and others' and choose (add if not added already) the Google Account. Then in the Google Account's settings choose option 'Contacts'.
From Nokia Symbian to Google Account
Download the Nokia PC Suite on your computer, connect the device using the USB cable. While using the program choose option 'contacts', then 'contacts' again and finally choose those contacts you wish to transfer. Next, click on File and then Export - your contacts should be exported to csv file.
Now go to Gmail and find Contacts and choose the options Import data. Find the csv file on your computer and all your contacts should be synchronized with your Google Account. On your new mobile phone you should make sure that the contacts are synchronized with your Google Account - that way you will be able to get your contacts automatically.
